Pastor Wallace Faust Sr.

Humble Beginnings

Pastor Wallace Faust, Senior, born to the proud parents of Leroy and Sarah Faust. To this union, six children was born, with Pastor being the baby boy. It was reported by his mother, that Wallace was a very respectful child and the two were very close. At an early age Wallace’s father died and his grandfather Pastor Walter Alexander became a role model who influenced his life greatly.

Pastor Faust is a husband, a father, and a pastor. He is married to Evangelist Bridgette Evans-Faust and is the father of four daughters and two young men: Melissa, Sarah, Kaneisha, Wallace, Romello, and Jasmine. Pastor Faust also have 7 grandchildren who is molding to be a part of the ministry.

Accepting the Call

Pastor Faust joined New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church #2 in 1989 under the direction of Pastor Walter Alexander. He served as a deacon who faithfully performed his duties in this capacity and other roles requested. In 1999, after the transition of his loving grandfather, pastor began his journey to the ministry.

He began his training under the leadership and tutelage of Bishop Harvey L. Richardson (Kingdom of Christ). The year of 2000 was an exalting year for Pastor Faust; he was licensed and ordained to the ministry and became the Pastor of New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church #2.

Going Forward

This unique Ministry houses 7 Ministers which includes his faithful, dedicated wife Bridgette and young God-fearing daughter Melissa & Sarah, a host of Deacons, a couple of Ushers, one long term faithful Nurse and a small but faithful congregation.

Pastor Faust is a hardworking and a community leader. He has spear headed and grown several programs to assist and aide the community (back to school drive, turkey drive, youth movie night and the feeding of the homeless) with the assistance of his wife, family, and congregation. Pastor Faust is dedicated to his calling where he serves; reaching out and teaching the Word of God to anyone he encounters. Under his leadership, New Friendship International is truly a church that welcomes and serves the community.

The Test

In February of 2015 Pastor Faust faced his toughest battle. Pastor was diagnosed with renal (Kidney) cancer. Pastor Faust kept his faith, stood tall and underwent surgery in April of 2015. During the surgical procedure, the robot malfunction and God revealed why he is the “King of all Kings. The surgery took longer than planned, but God still had more work for Pastor Faust. After surgery Pastor was completed healed (no chemo, no radiation.)

In July of 2017, our Pastor faced another battle with Prostate cancer but if God did it before he can do it again. God was not finish with Pastor’s testimony. This was the hit that was to test the faith of Pastor. Pastor being the man of God, that God called him to be laid before the Lord. Pastor did not want to have another surgery, but God told him “A cut or a funeral.” On October 23, 2017, Pastor underwent another successful surgery (no chemo, no radiation.)

 

Elevation

In 2021, Pastor Faust was ordained as the Overseer of “Save our seed” by the Honorably Bishop Taylor from LA, California. Save our Seed is a non-for-profit organization that help support young men through manhood.

For more than 18 years Pastor Faust has dedicated his time, energy, knowledge, guidance, money, and leadership to each member helping them realize their purpose in the Ministry.
